ReTour is ESO Recycling’s project for the hospitality world: a new generation of guest amenities that combine functionality, hospitality and sustainability.
Today, hospitality cannot simply make guests feel welcome, safe and pampered. It must also consider the impact of the materials, items and resources it uses.
The concept
Please do not discard.
The door hanger is one of the most recognisable codes of the hotel world. ReTour reinterprets it: the familiar “Please do not disturb” becomes “Please do not discard”.
The tone remains the international, gentle language of hotels. What changes is the perspective: what would normally be thrown away does not have to reach the end of its journey, but can return to new life within the very world it came from.
The first step
Sustainability does not stay outside the room.
The first product in the line is ReTour disposable slippers, made from secondary raw materials from textiles, sports waste and PPE and designed to return to the guest experience with a new story to tell.
From the threshold to the room: a simple, visible, everyday gesture that brings the circular economy to the heart of the guest experience. Because hospitality means taking care. Of every guest, every gesture, every resource.
A choice that speaks for the environment
What starts as waste can have a happy ending.
ReTour slippers are made from secondary raw materials recovered from textiles, sports waste and personal protective equipment (PPE).
ReTour embodies ESO’s philosophy: giving waste materials a new life and turning them, through upcycling, into resources with renewed value.
