Circular economy
Closing the circle, within hospitality.
What would normally be thrown away does not have to reach the end of its journey: it can return to new life within the very world it came from.
The circle in three steps
What would be thrown away does not reach the end of its journey.
- CollectionESO Società BenefitIt all starts with collection. ESO Società Benefit, the parent company and logistics arm of the ESO group, collects the materials and sends them for recycling.
- RecyclingESO RecyclingESO Recycling has worked for years in managing and transforming end-of-life materials. After collection, it turns them into a new secondary raw material.
- New guest amenitiesReTourThe secondary raw material becomes new guest amenities: simple, visible and everyday. The first are ReTour disposable slippers.
ReTour is not just a supplier of recycled products: it is a partner for hotels that want their hospitality to be more consistent, responsible and contemporary.
After use, a new life
With ReTour, courtesy comes full circle.
Once used, the slippers are collected in the ESObox, the recycled cardboard container ESO provides to the property. It sits in back-of-house areas and helps staff keep collection simple and tidy.
When the box is full, ESO collects the material and sends it for recovery at the ESO Recycling plant in Tolentino. A concrete, tangible cycle that turns an everyday gesture into a model of circular hospitality worth sharing.

Supply chain
An idea 100% made in Europe.
The project involves European partners only: this is the common thread of the whole initiative.
01
Tolentino, Italy
“Amato Cannara” plant
At ESO Recycling’s plant, opened in 2022 and the first in Italy designed to recycle PPE, sports waste and textiles, materials are shredded and separated into their original components: this is how the secondary raw material is made.
02
Denmark
Campen
The secondary raw material is processed at Campen, an international reference in machinery for the textile and airlaid industry.
03
Italy
Ricamificio Marini
ReTour slippers are made by Ricamificio Marini, an Italian company specialising in embroidery and decorative finishes for fashion, footwear and interiors.
Who is behind it
A project by the ESO group.
Three companies, one supply chain: those who collect, those who recycle and those who turn the material into new items for hospitality.
